Four Brazilian Footballers Could Face Suspension

Four Brazilian Footballers Could Face Suspension

Brazil will face Colombia in their final group stage match of the Copa America on Wednesday, July 3. The match will kick off at 7:00 AM Bangladesh time. To secure a spot in the quarterfinals, Brazil only needs a draw. However, a loss would mean they would have to rely on the result of the Costa Rica vs. Paraguay match. Adding to their concerns, four Brazilian players are at risk of suspension.

Brazil's start in the Copa America wasn't ideal. They played a goalless draw against Costa Rica in their first match. However, Dorival's team bounced back in the following game, defeating Paraguay 4-1. Despite the big win, several key players received yellow cards in that match.

Currently, the team's biggest star, Vinicius Junior, received a yellow card in that game. Along with him, Éder Militão, Wendel, and Lucas Paquetá were also booked. If any of these players receive another yellow card against Colombia, they will be suspended for the next match, forcing Brazil to play the quarterfinals without them.

This raises the question of whether these four players will be included in the starting lineup against Colombia. However, Brazil's coach Dorival has not made any clear statements regarding this matter. His focus remains on winning the match, and he has stated his intention to field the best possible team.

Dorival said, "It depends on the situation of the match. We have analyzed the Colombian team thoroughly. They are a great team and have been playing consistently well. Many of their players play for the best clubs in the world. Such skilled players deserve respect. We will field our best eleven against them
