Khaleda Zia returns to Firoza after 11 days
BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has returned home after receiving treatment for 11 days at a hospital in the capital.
She arrived at her residence in Gulshan around 7 PM on Tuesday (July 2).
Earlier, she left Basundhara Evercare Hospital around 6 PM. At the time of departure, party workers crowded to catch a glimpse of the former Prime Minister. Clearing the crowd, she proceeded towards her residence in Gulshan in her party leader's car.
Personal physicians informed that due to Khaleda Zia's somewhat stable physical condition, she has been taken home to avoid the risk of infection in the hospital.
She was admitted to the CCU of Evercare Hospital at around 3 AM on June 21 following a sudden worsening of breathing difficulties. The next day, on Sunday, a pacemaker was installed in her heart.
