Biden’s Family Blames Advisers for Poor Debate Performance

Following a "disappointing" performance in the electoral debate, various parties have called for Biden to withdraw from the election. However, Biden's family is standing by him and urging him not to withdraw. They are blaming his advisers for his poor performance.

On Sunday, June 30, Biden's family members gathered with him at Camp David, where many questions about his political future were raised. This discussion took place after a few days of pressure due to his poor debate performance.

According to The New York Times, Biden’s wife, children, and grandchildren were present during the meeting at Camp David. They stated, "It’s not over yet. Biden can still show the American people that he is capable of serving as president again."

Although his family is aware of how poorly he performed, they still believe that Biden is the only person capable of defeating Trump.

The Associated Press reported that Biden's wife, Jill, and his son, Hunter, were the most vocal in preventing him from stepping down from the election. Hunter Biden was recently convicted of a serious crime for the first time as the son of a sitting president. He was found guilty of providing false information about his drug addiction during a firearm purchase in 2018.

Meanwhile, according to reports from U.S. media, senior party leaders and sponsors expressed frustration with Biden's staff regarding how he was prepared for such an event. His advisers were criticized by Biden's relatives for the way they prepared him for the debate.

A Florida-based attorney and Biden’s chief fundraiser said, "I believe he was overtrained. He overpracticed."

One critic of Biden’s performance said he should have been prepared based on a viewpoint that would be acceptable to everyone.

During the debate on Thursday night, June 27, Biden gave a shaky performance with harsh language. He repeatedly stumbled and even struggled to finish his sentences. Taking advantage of this, his opponent, Donald Trump, made multiple false claims, including that he won the 2020 election, which Biden failed to refute.
