Protecting a mother's honor could cost us thousands of jobs: Kangana Ranaut slapped by airport security personnel

Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress and BJP leader, has faced disciplinary action and suspension from duty by the female security guard at Chandigarh Airport, Kulvinder Kaur, for slapping her. She has been reprimanded and later arrested.

However, this security personnel remains undeterred. Now she says, "I could lose thousands of jobs to protect my mother's honor."

On Thursday (June 6), at Chandigarh Airport, CIASF Constable Kulvinder Kaur slapped Khan, recently elected BJP MP Kangana Ranaut. Kulvinder Kaur informed that she was slapped during a heated argument over derogatory remarks made during the farmers' protest. This incident has sparked a storm on social media. Some have stood by Kangana, while others support the female security guard.

However, Kangana did not receive support from within her own film industry. Even renowned music artist Vishal Dadlani stated that if the constable loses her job, he would offer her employment. Not only that, he further wrote, "I never support violence. However, I understand the anger of this CISF personnel."

Kangana is furious at such behavior in Bollywood. In her response on social media, she wrote, "My dear film industry, after the attack at the airport, you are all either celebrating or silently sitting down."

"But remember one thing, if tomorrow you roam the streets of your country or anywhere in the world without any weapons and try to attack Israeli or Palestinian people, only for this reason, then remember today's day," she added. However, she deleted the post shortly after.

Kulvinder Kaur has been detained on Thursday. An FIR has been filed against her. An investigation committee has been formed by CISF authorities to investigate the incident.

Kulvinder Kaur is a resident of Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab. She has been serving at Chandigarh Airport for two years. Her husband is also a member of the CISF. Additionally, Kulvinder's brother, Sher Singh, is a farmer leader and the organizational editor of the Farmers Labor Committee.
