Embarrassing Record for India Against Pakistan

India set an embarrassing record against Pakistan by being bowled out before completing 20 overs. Rohit Sharma's team was dismissed for 119 runs in 19 overs, thanks to the brilliant bowling of Pakistan's pacers Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, and Naseem Shah. This is India's lowest total when batting first in a T20 World Cup match.

On Sunday, June 9, at the Nassau County International Stadium in New York, Pakistan's captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to field. In the second over of the innings, Indian star batsman Virat Kohli was dismissed by Naseem Shah. In the following over, Shaheen Afridi sent Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion. After the early loss of these two openers, Rishabh Pant tried to stabilize the innings with Axar Patel, putting together a 39-run partnership.

After Axar's dismissal, India quickly lost two more wickets. Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube were sent back in quick succession, putting further pressure on the team. India continued to lose wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bowled out for 119 runs in 19 overs. Rishabh Pant was the top scorer for India with 42 runs.

This is India's fourth-lowest score in T20 World Cup history and the second-lowest in an innings where they were all out. Moreover, this is their lowest total when batting first in a T20 World Cup match and their lowest score against Pakistan in the tournament, marking a humiliating record.
