Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa with more than 40,000 worshippers
Despite strict restrictions imposed by Israeli forces, the holy Eid al-Adha prayers were held at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem, with more than 40,000 worshippers in attendance. The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf reported this information on Sunday.

The second Muslim festival, Eid al-Adha, is being celebrated in various Middle Eastern countries. However, for Palestinian Muslims, this day brings more fear than joy. The Gaza Strip faces constant attacks. Even during Eid al-Adha, the largest Muslim festival, Israeli forces maintained strict measures, even preventing sacrifices on Eid day.
According to the Anadolu report, many worshippers faced harassment by Israeli forces on their way to and from Al-Aqsa for prayers.
