Israel not allowing Gazans to perform Qurbani
Even on Eid day, Israel launched attacks on Gaza. By closing all border crossings, the occupying forces have prevented the entry of sacrificial animals into Gaza, preventing the residents from performing Qurbani. This report comes from Anadolu Agency.
On Saturday, Gaza's Media Office stated that due to Israel's ban on the entry of sacrificial animals, thousands of families in Gaza are being deprived of the opportunity to celebrate Eid al-Adha and perform Qurbani, an essential Islamic religious practice.
In a statement, Gaza authorities mentioned that the occupying forces have committed a new crime by seizing and closing the Rafah border crossing, along with all other crossings into the Gaza Strip, thus blocking the entry of sacrificial animals.
The Gaza Media Office described this as "a clear violation of human rights and a complete disregard for humanitarian and Islamic values."
Since last October, over 37,000 Palestinians, most of whom are women and children, have been killed in Israel's brutal attacks on Gaza. More than 85,000 people have been injured.
The continuous eight-month-long Israeli attacks have left millions in Gaza suffering from severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
In addition to human casualties, many livestock have also been killed due to Israeli attacks, with many others dying from starvation. Consequently, the price of sacrificial animals has increased several times this year. Blocking the entry of animals has further exacerbated the crisis for Gazans.
Gaza's Media Office has held Israel and the U.S. administration fully responsible for "this crime against Islam and the Palestinian people."
They emphasized that the international community must seriously intervene to stop the genocide in Gaza and end this brutal violation of the rights and human rights of Muslims, in the interest of moral and legal responsibility
