How Many Seats is the NDA Winning in Karnataka?

The final phase of voting for India's 18th Lok Sabha election has concluded, and exit polls have begun to emerge. Most exit polls indicate that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set to win more than 350 seats in the election.

According to exit polls, the NDA is also expected to secure the majority of seats in Karnataka, which has 28 Lok Sabha seats. NDTV reports the following predictions:

- TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat exit poll suggests that the NDA could win 20 seats in Karnataka, while Congress may secure 8 seats.
- India Today-Axis My India exit poll indicates that the NDA might win between 23 to 25 seats, with the India alliance possibly securing 3 to 5 seats.
- Jan Ki Baat exit poll predicts that the NDA could lead with 21 to 23 seats, and Congress might win 5 to 7 seats.
- India TV-CNX exit poll states that the NDA could win between 19 to 25 seats, while Congress might secure 4 to 8 seats.

Additionally, exit polls indicate that the BJP is also performing well in West Bengal. The Jan Ki Baat exit poll suggests that the BJP could increase its tally from 18 seats in 2019 to 22 seats, while the ruling Trinamool Congress might see a reduction in seats.

Prime Minister Modi had set a target of winning over 400 seats in this Lok Sabha election. However, exit polls suggest that the BJP might not achieve this target. On the other hand, the Congress-led India alliance had aimed for 285 seats, but exit polls indicate that they are falling significantly short of this goal.

According to NDTV, at least six exit polls indicate that the NDA might win 367 seats, while the India bloc could secure 143 seats. The BJP alone is expected to win 327 seats, compared to Congress's 52 seats.

Jan Ki Baat's exit poll suggests that the NDA could win between 362 and 392 seats, while the opposition coalition might secure between 141 and 161 seats. News-D Dynamics forecasts that the NDA will win 371 seats, while the India bloc will get 125 seats.

Dainik Bhaskar's exit poll predicts that the NDA will win between 281 and 350 seats, while the India alliance will secure between 145 and 201 seats. However, exit polls are merely estimates and are not always accurate.

All exit polls indicate that the NDA has performed well in South India and Bengal. In Andhra Pradesh, the alliance with Chandrababu Naidu is expected to help the NDA win 18 out of the state's 25 seats.

The Lok Sabha election in India began on April 19 and concluded on Saturday, June 1. The country's Election Commission will officially announce the results on Tuesday, June 4.
