Beautiful educational "sad" story

Riyaz spent 25 lakh taka to buy a new car. It was a shiny silver-colored car. Seeing the car, his wife, two children, and parents were extremely happy. Just two months ago, they had moved to a new apartment. Along with hard work, Riyaz's luck had also favored him greatly. He was getting promotions at work year after year. His salary was also increasing rapidly. So, he quickly took a bank loan and spent all that money on buying a house and a car, bringing joy to the family.

In the spirit of this happiness, Riyaz hosted a party at his home. Colleagues from the office were invited from afternoon to evening, and relatives and friends were invited from evening till night. With lots of fun and food, Riyaz's party came to an end. Everyone was very happy and praised Riyaz.

As soon as morning came, Riyaz would drive to the office, the children would go to school by car, and his wife would use the car to go shopping. Even when going to the village, they would use the car. Thinking about the future of Riyaz's family, he was very concerned. Amassing wealth seemed like an addiction for Riyaz. He had bought a savings certificate worth 25 lakh taka in his wife's name. He had also invested a significant amount in fixed deposits in the children's names. The family seemed well-off in terms of material possessions.

Four months later, tragedy struck. Riyaz had an accident and passed away. His death was a sudden and tragic one. A head-on collision with a covered van, resulting in his instant death. The driver of the van was at fault, driving recklessly. Despite several warnings, no changes were made, and now it was all over. Mourning engulfed the entire household. His wife, children, in-laws, and other relatives were shattered in tears. Riyaz's mother, at her age, could not accept this grief; she kept fainting repeatedly. His wife seemed like she had turned into stone out of sorrow. The children were crying in confusion. Their once happy family had now fallen apart in grief.

Riyaz's body was laid to rest in the garage. His body was washed, covered in white cloth, and kept on a stretcher for a while. People kept coming in one by one, looking at his face for the last time, then covering him up again. Soon, funeral arrangements would be made. Everyone seemed overwhelmed with grief and shock by Riyaz's sudden death. He seemed annoyed about something, but he couldn't express it. Finally, the funeral was arranged. By midnight, the burial was completed. Everyone had left, and now there was no one at the graveyard.

Two angels came and began questioning Riyaz with a grimace. Then they took Riyaz and ascended towards the sky. When they reached halfway to the sky, a voice was heard, "Wait, his soul can't ascend further." He owed a great deal. His debts were yet to be paid. Until the debts are settled, he won't attain salvation. Take him back to where you brought him from. Riyaz was brought back to his grave. The grave had been a great suffering for Riyaz. He cried out to his wife, "Quickly settle my debts. Tear up the savings certificates in your name, cancel the fixed deposits made for the children. I can't bear this torment anymore." But no one heard Riyaz's cry.

This continued for six months. No one paid off Riyaz's debts. Riyaz started to regret deeply. The effort he had put into amassing wealth for his family, and now having no value himself. Six months passed, and Riyaz still had not attained salvation. He was weeping in regret. Surviving for the sake of his family, he had built wealth with great difficulty, but now he felt worthless. Six months had passed, and yet he could not find salvation. Riyaz began to cry.

In the dawn of Asr, Riyaz's sleep was interrupted. Until now, Riyaz had been dreaming. Disoriented, he got up. Today, he had plans to go buy a car after waking up from his sleep. Riyaz went to the washroom and then, instead of going to buy a car, he went to the mosque. On his way, it struck him that no one belongs to anyone in this world. He pledged, no more debts.
