Prime Minister Modi extends warm greetings to Sheikh Hasina on Eid-ul-Azha

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed warm greetings to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

According to the Facebook page of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, this information was disclosed on Sunday (June 16).

In a letter conveying his greetings, Modi wrote to Sheikh Hasina, "The festival reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood, which are indispensable to build a peaceful and inclusive world."

Modi described Eid-ul-Azha in his letter as an "integral part of the rich cultural heritage."

Additionally, in his message, Modi wished Sheikh Hasina good health and well-being.

Tomorrow, Monday (June 17), Muslims will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha, one of their major religious festivals. Muslims will perform animal sacrifices according to their capability at the end of the congregational prayers, hoping for Allah's boundless blessings.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have extended greetings to all Muslims in the country and around the world.
