The DB Harun has shed some light on retrieving the dismembered parts of MP Anwar
MP Anowarul Azim Anar's murder mystery is being unraveled and the dismembered parts of his body are being searched for by a three-member team led by Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB), Mohammad Harun-Or-Rashid in Kolkata.
They went to Kolkata on Monday (May 27) with the arrested butcher Jihad Hawlader to search various places. At this time, he faced the media.
He said, "We visited the crime scene twice. We took the accused Jihad to the crime scene for a TI parade. We came to Bagjola canal with Jihad, where it is alleged the body was dumped. We hope to recover the dismembered parts of the body in a short time.
DB Harun said, 'This is such an incident that I can't accept as a police officer. Such a cruel and barbaric murder cannot happen in a civilized society. Our beloved MP Anar was brutally murdered and his body was dismembered with a cold-headed plan.'
Regarding the role of arrested Shelasty Rahman in this murder, he said, 'We will investigate in India and then return to the country and talk to Shelasty Rahman. He was at the flat where the murder took place, but what his role was at this scene can only be known by talking to him.
